About Me

I taught my first class back in the days of the Gerald Ford administration. I taught for 10 years before going into the law. I practiced law for 13 years but my real passion is teaching. I returned to teaching and have spent the last 23 years teaching Latin on the secondary level. I can't imagine that any other career would provide as much passion and satisfaction. I have learned that the brightest and most capable students sometimes come across a concept that they cannot master. This is where an extra help session with a teacher or a tutor becomes necessary. When a person feels sick, s/he sees a doctor. The patient tells the doctor what symptoms s/he is experiencing. The doctor will then be able to diagnose the condition and devise a treatment plan. The mistakes you make on an assessment are basically symptoms of a problem. I can diagnose the problem and devise a treatment plan for you.
