About Me

I am a graduate of College of the Holy Cross and the University of Maryland. As a native Spanish speaker with six years total experience teaching middle school and high school Spanish I am a great fit for tutoring in Spanish. I have taught Spanish 1, 2 and 3. Throughout my entire professional career as a journalist and Spanish teacher, I have shared my gift of knowing the Spanish language and have used it to do some good in the world. As a Spanish teacher, I have always shared my enthusiasm for the language and plan on doing the same as a tutor. My philosophy is the best way to teach a language is to show others how much you love the language and draw others in with that love and enthusiasm. In addition to my teaching experience, I was also fortunate enough to travel to Quito, Ecuador in 2019 as part of a three-week cultural exchange. I am a firm believer that languages are a ticket to doing great things in life!
