About Me

I am a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a minor in French, and Duke University, where I received my Master of Science in Global Health. I am currently a third year medical student at Campbell University. During undergrad, I tutored student athletes in a variety of subjects including English, Psychology, and Biology. The summer after I graduated college, I traveled to Salzburg, Austria for an internship at the Global Citizenship Alliance where I worked with college students and college faculty on strengthening their leadership skills. While at Duke, I worked with refugees in the community through the Refugee Health Initiative, as a health counselor and French translator. I am most passionate about helping students achieve their personal goals and find seeing improvement in test scores and writing skills over time to be very rewarding. I am patient, dedicated, and determined, and will do all I can to teach you what I know. In my spare time I enjoy weight lifting, yoga, baking, reading, and playing with my cat.
