About Me

Hello! I'm excited to be able to work with you as my student. I love being able to share my knowledge about the subjects I'm interested in (especially foreign languages and culture). I've worked with students of all ages and am able to adapt to many kinds of learning styles. I went to high school in Indiana, PA, and I am currently studying at the University of Pittsburgh. I also studied abroad for a year with the CBYX program in Germany- I gained a lot of insight and hope to inspire many of you to consider doing something similar. I am working towards a Biochemistry degree on a Pre-med track. Though I can tutor chemistry, my greatest passion is helping others to learn foreign languages in a positive and immersive environment. I teach German up to a B2-C1 level and Russian to an upper intermediate level. I have recently been accepted to teach as an undergraduate assistant to the second-year students at Pitt. I am involved in my school's culture clubs as well as their cheer squad, where you can find me cheering them on at games. My teaching ideals reflect the wishes of the student- I want to help you trust me and understand that I trust you; how you learn should not be dictated to you but constructed yourself, and I am here to facilitate that learning.
