About Me

I am a graduate from Eastern Illinois University. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and my Master of Arts in mathematics. I have taught five years of Algebra 1, College Algebra, and Trigonometry in a high school. I have also instructed two college courses, College Algebra and Statistics. Over the past five years, I have also worked one on one with private families to tutor students for the ACT, SAT, and various college math courses. Teaching mathematics is something that I am very passionate about. I love the content and enjoy helping others understand it! A key part of my instruction is vocabulary practice. In my experience, many students struggle due to lack of understanding of what the question is asking which is where vocabulary comes in. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family, working out, baking, and reading.
