About Me

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communications Public Relations, with a Japanese minor and certificate from Brigham Young University. I lived right outside of Tokyo, Japan for half of my life, spending time getting to know Japanese relatives and learning about the culture. I also lived in Sapporo, Japan as a young adult service missionary and taught English classes to Japanese natives. Upon returning to the U.S. after my service mission, I taught Japanese to young adults preparing to live in Japan as service missionaries. I have always enjoyed sharing with others, the love I have for the Japanese language and culture. I am a lifelong learner and believe there is power in knowledge. When I'm not tutoring, I love reading good books, going on fun dates with my husband, and enjoying the outdoors.
