About Me

I am an engineering graduate student working on my PhD in biomedical engineering. My project is focused on studying the effect the extra cellular environment has on glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. During my studies I have been a teaching assistant for several classes and a tutor for student athletes. I am very experienced tutoring and teaching a wide variety of subjects including all levels of mathematics, introductory biology, chemistry and physics, and many engineering classes. I work best with students who are willing to learn and engage. I think students best learn working through problems and working with steadily increasing challenges. I subscribe to the adage, "don't practice until you get it right, practice until you can't get it wrong." Hobbies: art, reading, writing, books, music
