About Me

I'm Hasret, a 34 year old German with a ceaseless love for writing and reading. I'm a graduate of Troy University in Troy, Alabama. I received my Bachelor of Science in English and minor in creative writing with Honors. During my undergraduate studies, I began tutoring English and German with the writing center at Troy University. There, I tutored for 2 years and had great success with my students, ranging from undergraduate to graduate level students. I helped students become effective and confident writers, guided them in developing and organizing college level essays, strengthend their proofreading and editing skills, helped them become active and close readers of literature, and sharpened their analytical skills. When I'm not working, I spend most of my time reading, writing, and running.
