About Me

Hi! I'm Emma!!! In April, I will graduate with my M.D. from Rush Medical College in Chicago and go on to Psychiatry residency. I graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2019 where I studied public health and psychology while on the pre-medical track. I have been tutoring for many years and really enjoy it. I'm flexible to different students and learning styles, but these are some of the components I think are key to academic success: a solid dedication to a study plan that fits into each individual student's life/schedule, and confidence that if the work is put in, things will work out! I have mainly tutored ACT/SAT prep, but have tutored in a variety of subjects like math, science, english, and writing skills. I also have gone through several application cycles (college, medical school, residency) and work on the Rush Medical College admissions committee, so I would love to help with any essay writing, application prep, or mock interviews. Outside of tutoring I love yoga, basketball, art, and exploring with friends!
