About Me

As a graduate of a top-20 national university, I know that it takes a lot of hard work to succeed in school. Sometimes, we need a little extra help to get us to that point, and I love working with students to make their success a reality! It is very important to me that I not only have a good relationship with my students, but also work with them throughout their tutoring sessions to make sure they have the confidence to succeed in school. My strategy as a tutor is to get to know the student and figure out why they are having trouble with a particular subject. Then, we will work together to build up both their knowledge base, critical thinking skills, and confidence so that the student can effectively tackle their homework and other assignments. When a student has confidence in him/herself, they have eradicated the biggest barrier to success! Aside from tutoring, my hobbies are dance and music. I grew up playing piano and performing in a variety of dance styles, and even continued dancing in college!
