About Me

I am an Oregon raised educator with over five years of experience as a teacher, tutor, and teaching assistant. I have a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Oregon and an M.S. in Biostatistics from OHSU. My teaching style emphasizes writing and self sufficiency because I want to teach my students how to accelerate the pace of their learning, not just keep their head above water. I also seek to tailor my teaching to the individual so that they can meet their individual goals in academiaMy preference is to work with high school and college mathematics students. I have experience working with nontraditional students as well as students with poor math backgrounds. I'm especially interested in college algebra, discrete math, and statistics.
