About Me

I received my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in Art History from the University of MinnesotaTwin Cities. I am currently pursuing my PhD in English at Washington University in Saint Louis. I have taught an array of subjects at Wash U for the past 4 years, including introductory writing, literature, and film. I love the subjects I study and teach, and I try to impart that enthusiasm to my students. Whether they're struggling with memorizing facts for a test, writing a term paper, improving reading comprehension, or something else, I help students learn how to both overcome and have fun with those challenges. I can tutor a broad range of subjects, but I am most passionate about writing and reading. When I don't have my nose in a book, I enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle (running, dog-walking, basketball and softball) and engaging in various arts and crafts, like woodworking and sewing.
