About Me

I am a graduate of Montclair State University with honors. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History. I also attended the College of New Jersey for my graduate degree in Educational Leadership, with a 4.0 grade point average. Since graduation, I have been teaching high school World and American History of all levels from inclusion to Advanced Placement. I have also taught Economics. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about History. In my experience, helping struggling students prepare for standardized tests, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements) prepping for the Critical Reading and Writing portions of the exams. I have also been successful teaching Historical Writing, both argumentative and explanatory to a wide range of students with vastly different abilities. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, watching or playing baseball, running, and hanging out with my golden retriever.
