About Me

I am a first year medical student at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. I received my B.S. in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Neuroscience from the University of California San Diego. Between my undergraduate education and medical school education, I tutored high school students in a variety of subjects, including Algebra, Chemistry, Biology, and Spanish. My favorite subject to tutor is Chemistry, because it is one that students struggle with a lot, and it makes me happy to see a student grasp a concept they have worked hard to understand. I believe that there are many different ways to learn a concept, and I like to use different study methods that cater to a student's learning style.
