About Me

I graduated from UC Berkeley in May 2014 majoring in Political Economy. I was interested in this major because I am sincerely passionate about helping people. I helped my college friends with their Mandarin Projects for competitions and also taught a young boy Mandarin Chinese for one semester. I researched materials and developed detailed lesson plans; interfaced with parents regarding goals, teaching methods and development of homework plans; developed a strong relationship with students, utilizing a variety of classroom activities. I also tutored Algebra at for a non-profit educational center. I not only helped students with their homework, but I also helped struggling students prepare for exams. I believe education is a very important part of improving quality of life. I am very enthusiastic, positive, and responsible, and most importantly, I love people.
