About Me

I lived for 28 years between France and Belgium where French is the language of the country. My force is that I am a native French speaker. I have a French Bachelor Degree in Arts : Information and Communication as well as in Political Sciences. I have a French Master's Degree in Journalism. I worked in Europe as a journalist. I worked also for the European Commission which is the executive body of the European Union responsible for proposing legislation and implementing decisions. This required a very sound knowledge of foreign languages in order to secure work efficiency, taking into consideration the multilingual European environment. I am very proud to say that I have been studying foreign languages with great passion and dedication from an early age. I speak fluent French, English, and Syriac. I worked also with different international organizations as their French-English translator and interpreter. I am currently working as a French teacher for elementary, middle school and high school in one of the best private school in Tampa Bay. Students enjoy my classes and the way I teach because of my class structure. As a native speaker, my goal is to make sure that all my students have a better pronunciation of French by practicing and accelerating at the same pace. I am using modern material. I integrate culture to make learning French fun and relevant to my students. But what makes me a great teacher, is that I am very passionate when I teach because I know my content and I am organized. The school received a lot of positive feedbacks about my classes and how I create a pleasant atmosphere by making learning fun by smiling and always having an enthusiastic attitude. I teach all ages, all levels and backgrounds. For me every student is unique so I work with them for their specific needs. Over the years, and thanks to the type of work in which I have been engaged, I have developed very good interpersonal and communication skills, empathy, patience and listening skills, as well as flexibility. During my free time, I enjoy traveling to new destinations, reading French novels, studying ancient civilizations, biking with friends and boating.
