About Me

I am a graduate of Florida State University and received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. During my time at Florida State I also took a number of classes relating to Biology and Graphic Design. I have a professional educator's certificate issued by the State of Florida Department of Education. I am endorsed in reading and ESOL. Since graduation, I have spent time being a 4th grade teacher of reading and social studies, helping to run a retail store, and traveling. During my time as a 4th grade teacher I also tutored students who needed extra help after school in reading, social studies, and FCAT prep. My favorite subject is reading, but I also love teaching math, science, and social studies. I am quite passionate about education and the opportunities that it can give people. In addition to tutoring, I am also an enrollment coordinator and education consultant for a school. When I am not working with students you can find me making art, going to live music events, playing rugby or soccer, reading, playing with my pets, or at the beach.
