About Me

I am a geologist with a particular interest in geophysics and thus built a strong foundation in math and physics during my undergraduate and Masters program. Currently I am in the middle of a PhD program in the School of Geosciences at the University of South Florida. I very much enjoy teaching and am fortunate to have had the opportunity to lead undergraduate classes during my graduate studies. My tutoring strengths lie in the STEM realm. Teaching keeps me aware of my strengths and weaknesses in the subjects. Not knowing the answer to a question is the chance to be humble and teach myself. Officially I am a math tutor, but am happy to discuss the applicability of math in the Earth Sciences.
