About Me

I am graduate of Yale University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During my college years, I spent most of my time in the lab, researching in a behavioral neurosciences lab, and on the rugby pitch for the Yale Rugby Club. I then moved to St. Louis to attend medical school at Washington University in St. Louis. Though I initially entered medical school with the hopes to become a neurologist, I fell in love with orthopedic surgery and am currently heavily involved in research with the orthopedic hand department. Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I started private tutoring during my high school years and continued to tutor throughout college. My favorite subjects are Math and Science and I have much experience tutoring Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. During medical school, I had the great opportunity to lead the Physics portion of Washington University's MCAT class as well as be a teaching assistant for the medical school Gross Anatomy course. I know that there are many ways to learn the same material, and so with each of my students I try to tailor my teaching strategies to take advantage of their strengths. Outside of school, I love to cook, read and stay active by exercising, taking my dog out to the park and playing golf.
