About Me

I have extensive experience with teaching, having served as a teaching assistant during my time in Washington University in Organic Chemistry and as a tutor in Organic Chemistry and Biology. I have a strong background in the basic sciences and can provide a solid foundation in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I believe strongly in a holistic approach to teaching because in my experience students are far more willing to learn when seemingly arcane subjects can be tied into their day to day life and their relevance concretely demonstrated. I delight in finding and applying these connections, and I look forward to teaching others to find them as well. In my free time I enjoy playing badminton and bicycling. I also enjoy cooking and exploring local restaurants around town with my friends.
