About Me

I am a motivated and energetic individual who thoroughly enjoys teaching. I have taught in both one-on-one and classroom settings for the past five years and would love to use this experience to help you learn. I have worked with students at all skill levels in a variety of subjects. I am someone who is not discouraged easily and is always trying new ways to better serve a student's specific learning style and goals. I take a personalized approach with each student and each subject to best suit the student's strengths as a learner. My passion for teaching is apparent right away. I think it is easy for my students to stay engaged and focused. I have an encouraging presence as a teacher and think that this goes a long way in helping students learn. I have taken, and done well on, a variety of standardized tests and have come to understand universal and recurring concepts for testing. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Neuroscience and Education to inform my teaching with new insights about the brain. There is diversity in my coursework, teaching experience, and approaches; which could all benefit students greatly. I look forward to teaching you!
