About Me

Hello! I'm a Certified Texas Educator and School Administrator with over 15 years of diverse experience spanning all grade levels, from Pre-K to 12th grade, and even college students honing their skills in writing and literature. My love for English ignited in elementary school, and I still vividly remember my first publication in high school. Throughout my journey, I've been fortunate to have inspiring teachers and mentors who fueled my passion for teaching and individualized instruction. I have taught a range of courses, including English II, English II Pre-AP, English III AP, English IV, and a College and Career Readiness Course. Additionally, I've had the privilege of working with adults seeking their GED, helping them build the literacy skills necessary to achieve their educational goals and improve their lives. As an Area Academic Facilitator, I've supported teachers, students, and campus administrators across K-12, helping them navigate the challenges of a rigorous curriculum. With the implementation of the STAAR test in Texas, I'm proud to share that 100% of my students met the Approaches Grade Level standard in reading, with 97% achieving Meets Grade Level and 62% reaching Masters Grade Level. In writing assessments, my results were equally impressive, with 100% achieving the minimum score, and 32 students classified as Advanced. My mission is to make a meaningful impact on the lives of studentsboth young and adultwho are willing to overcome challenges. I strive to create fun, engaging learning experiences that are tailored to meet individual needs. By leveraging student data and understanding their unique learning styles, I ensure measurable improvement and outcomes that can be replicated. I'm excited to inspire the next generation of learners and foster a love for English that lasts a lifetime!
