About Me

I am a recent graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (cum laude) and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Currently, I work as a research assistant in a Neuropsychology lab at Washington University’s School of Medicine. As an undergraduate, I tutored AP English students and worked as a TA with primarily freshman and sophomore students. I have extensive essay writing experience at both the high school and college level. My writing has focused on literature analysis, quantitative research papers and admissions essays. As a member of the Washington University Admissions Interview Team, I have a wealth of knowledge about what colleges are looking for in a prospective student’s standardized test scores and personal essays. I hope to develop my students into critical thinkers that are able to tackle a question or essay prompt with confidence. In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading and taking advantage of all the activities St. Louis has to offer, especially during the summer.
