About Me

I am a UCSD Bioengineering graduate who is passionate about tutoring. I have had tutoring experience with middle school through college students in Math and Science. My tutoring philosophy is not only to help students solve a problem but also to help them understand the thought process of how a certain method is chosen to solve a problem. Higher levels of math and science are built based on their fundamental concepts. Therefore, a solid understanding of these basic concepts is very important as students move forward into more advanced courses. Showing students steps to solve a problem is necessary; however, showing them why performing such steps is the key to successfully tackling more complex problems.
