Reach out to Varsity Tutors if you are looking for Syracuse CFA prep. Whether you study at Syracuse University, Le Moyne College, or another area university, you can benefit from additional CFA preparation. The CFA exam is divided into three Levels. All of them are administered annually in June. However, Level One can also be taken in December.
What topics will I learn about during Syracuse CFA preparation?
You must pass the CFA exam to get your Chartered Financial Analyst credential from the CFA Institute. All three Levels must be taken in order. After completing a Level, you will receive your score. If you have passed, you can proceed to the next Level.
There will be 10 topics covered on the CFA exam. They include economics, portfolio management, equity investments, fixed income, and more. The exact curriculum of the test, however, can change from year to year.
Each Level of the CFA exam is split into two sessions. One will be administered in the morning, while the other will be administered in the afternoon. There are 240 multiple-choice questions on Level One of the exam, 120 on Level Two, and 60 on Level Three. In addition, during the morning session of Level Three, you will be presented with eight to 12 constructed response questions, with each question having several parts.
How can I gain from taking Syracuse CFA prep?
There are two ways to prepare for the CFA exam in Syracuse. Many students opt to sign up for a Syracuse CFA prep class. Taking a class can give you an opportunity to get a comprehensive review of the subjects covered on the CFA exam. Studying with like-minded individuals who have a desire to improve their knowledge can help increase your motivation to succeed.
Studying alone can be monotonous and boring. It can be easy to procrastinate. Attending a class can break up the monotony of preparing for the CFA exam. The teacher can inspire the students to advance in their studies. They can teach the class with an enthusiasm that can spread to the students.
Our virtual classes take place over the internet. Regardless of where you are, you can attend class if you have a working internet connection. You can see, hear, and speak with the class instructor and the other students. If you need more help understanding the topics covered in the class, you can request private time with your class instructor.
Other students opt to study with a private Syracuse CFA tutor. Private mentoring can give you the opportunity to move at a pace which you are comfortable with. A private mentor can give you 100 percent of their attention and focus. This way, they can get to the core problems right away. For example, you may be falling behind in your studies due to a misunderstanding of a core concept. Understanding the fundamentals of any topic is a necessary foundation that you must have before moving on to advanced concepts. A private mentor can go back and explain the basics to you.
A private mentor can also help you improve your test-taking skills. If you are having difficulty pacing yourself on time-limited exams, your mentor can administer practice exams. They can monitor you when you take the practice exams and provide you with immediate feedback on how to improve. They can also give you helpful tips. On the CFA exam, for example, there are no penalties for incorrect answers. Sometimes, instead of spending too much time on a single question, it might be better to take your best guess and move forward. Your mentor might also advise you to mark down the question and go back to it if you have time after completing other questions.
You can study with your private mentor online, using our Live Learning Platform. Use our video chat and virtual whiteboard to enhance your studies. Another option is meeting with your instructor in person if you so prefer.

I enjoy helping students learn material in a way they can remember and apply in future coursework.... Perseverance trumps brilliance every time. Ask questions and work hard, and there's nothing you won't be able to understand.... I would begin by asking a few questions to see where a student is. I would then provide a useful note sheet and go over a refresher of some of the concepts we would be focusing on.
