I enjoy helping students reach their highest potential. My philosophy is that all people can learn and finding their intelligence is my goal in tutoring.

I aim to not only improve test scores, but to set students up so they may efficiently study without a tutor. I hope to not only have an impact on students during the few hours I see them, but to improve their study habits for a lifetime's impact.

I am interested in tutoring with Varsity Tutors because I value education, and enjoy helping other students learn. I specialize in anthropology, both biological and cultural, as well as human anatomy and French.

My ultimate goal is to strive for the highest and to inspire those with whom I interact to do the same. Be the best that you can be, and be proud of the things you do.

...I grew up in Michigan and moved to Lawrence in 2013 for grad school, and I love it here. It's a pretty small town, so we've probably crossed paths at some point at the farmers market, at the monthly Free State Story Slam, or on an outdoor basketball court. And I hope we can make it work so that we'll be able to get together to master whatever class or standardized test you're working on.

I tutor because I want to help others succeed in life and to let them understand that learning is profitable and doesn't just have to be school, but life experiences as well. After having been through the stresses of applying for colleges, grad schools, and other types of programs, to give back and ensure that you have the tools and skills necessary to reach your academic goals. I have taught and tutored a variety of core subjects for many years, and am happy to share knowledge and best practices for successful preparation!

I am a historically high-achievement student with honors including multiple 1st place performances in Kansas state science competitions. I attended Washington University on scholarship and will graduate Spring 2021 with a Comparative Arts degree with plans of becoming a professor. I have been trained to act as a writing tutor at the collegiate level, and have experience with and passion for assisting students with disabilities.

I am a recent graduate with a Master's of Science in Medical Physiology from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. I will be attending the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 2018, and I am excited to assist fellow students be successful in their courses.
