The student did a great job today and is learning a lot. I think this is partly because she did the homework I left for her. We started a new book "Sophie the Awesome." Because this is a third grade level book, there were words that she had trouble with, so I left them for her to practice. Also, we worked on reading language arts and math in her workbook. Next week we will continue with the workbooks and reading "Sophie the Awesome. " She should get a gold star for being very attentive and hard working for the entire two hour time period.

There were quite a few errors so we choral read together and then she read it aloud by herself again. After that she worked on her math homework and she answered some comprehension questions for the books.
