I have over eight years experience tutoring, mostly in math and science, but other subjects as well. I attempt to find analogous concepts from a student's other interests or daily experiences to make abstract concepts more understandable. I believe that generally, grasping a concept follows on from realizing it's not so foreign as we used to think.

I graduated from Washburn University, majoring in Biochemistry and a minor in biology. I'be been tutoring for 12 years and been a Substitute teacher for elementary through high school for 1 year.

I truly believe anyone can learn new subjects whether it be rocket science or simple addition. The only necessities are time, hard work, and dedication!
