I am a retired secondary mathematics teacher.

I am a credentialed teacher and taught 3rd grade. I have also been a tutor for elementary and high school age students for many years. I have experience in tutoring most subjects. My goal is to help you / your child feel confident and successful in any subject we work on together.

As a former high school and middle school Science and Math teacher at a private school in California, I believe that every student deserves personalized learning. Every student is unique in their learning style, their needs, and their personality and I strive to make sure my students uniqueness is celebrated in my teaching style.

I enjoy teaching math because to the student who doesn't understand, it is a riddle with no answer. By teaching them how to recognize the type of problem and how to decode the clues, the student gets to be on the other side of the riddle, the side on which they solve it and feel good about it.
