I firmly believe that education is the key to success for young students and I truly feel that with my innate ability to quickly connect with students, thus eliminating many behavioral issues, I can foster an environment conducive for students to achieve success, regardless of their level of learning.

I am a civil engineering graduate from Michigan State University! I have always loved math and science and working with student. I have worked with K-12 students from the time I was in high school, and even taught college level physics courses and labs.

I heard someone say that everyone starts out liking math. But they meet that one math teacher or class or even a problem that intimidates them, possibly embarrasses them. And they build a wall and find it hard to continue liking math. I want to show them an easier way to understand the concepts; I want people to like math.

I enjoy tutoring because it is more personal and focused than whole class instruction. My favorite subjects are English and Language Arts, because I love reading. I can help students become critical thinkers and engaged readers using the methods I have used in the classroom and in tutoring sessions with my students.
