I wish to teach students in a way that is both accessible and engaging. Through understanding them, I hope that I can make their subjects a little easier to understand, and I hope that by teaching them study strategies, they will be able to tackle all subjects they come across.

I am an earth science student who is interested in astrobiology and education. I have a background in biology and chemistry, as I was previously a biology major. I am also a veteran, and used to tutor ASVAB while in the military.

I graduated from the University of Washington with a masters in mechanical engineering after receiving my undergraduate degree from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. I focus on STEM subjects.

I believe that every student learns in a different with different learning strategies. Assessments and instruction go side by side. I believe students learn better when they really engage in the process of their learning. Positive relationships enhance learning as well.
