I have over 30 years of experience teaching in public elementary schools. I am a certified general ed., special ed., and ESL teacher. I believe that confidence and self-esteem are crucial to success. I encourage students to set and reach goals. My teaching style is to engage students in the lessons. I work to provide a safe and inviting environment where students feel comfortable answering questions and sharing ideas.

I am pursuing a bachelor's at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in pure math and physics. I have been tutoring for a little over a year and I love seeing students grow in their math capabilities. I tutor many math and physics subjects but my favorite is calculus 1 because of how much students' perspectives of math change while taking the course. I have scored well on the SAT and many AP exams.
