I am a historically high-achievement student with honors including multiple 1st place performances in Kansas state science competitions. I attended Washington University on scholarship and will graduate Spring 2021 with a Comparative Arts degree with plans of becoming a professor. I am currently a math teacher at a middle-high school. I like solving math questions and I like teaching math.... After learning, you will see it is not difficult.... I am currently attending the University of Central Missouri to receive my Alternative Certification and Master of Arts in Teaching degrees in Middle School Mathematics. On top of academic exposure to an array of math classes, I tutored many peers while in high school. Aside from traditional tutoring, I have exposure to teaching vital lessons to students of all backgrounds through my volunteer work at the University of Missouri and time spent in Guatemala.

I have been tutoring for close to 20 years. I enjoy helping students fill in the gaps when it comes to mathematics, preferably upper level subjects such as algebra, geometry and trigonometry. I also enjoy helping students improve their ACT scores with better test taking strategies.

I'm currently a sophomore majoring in Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I'm most familiar with high school math, history, and English as well as SAT and ACT prep. In my experience tutoring I've found that students respond best to a careful walktrough of the key points in a problem, followed by an opportunity to come up with the answer a similar question on their own.
