I have been a student, teacher, coach, tutor, mentor, manager,and business owner over the years. My favorite of all is to tutor. I love teaching and tutoring is the perfect context for teaching. One-on-one is the ideal in education.

I believe a tutor is as much a mentor and academic "coach" as they are a subject matter expert. I'm well versed in many technical subjects, but the real reason to hire a tutor (and me specifically!) is that they are knowledgeable in "how" to learn, not just "what" they've learned.
