I love math and have a passion for helping people solve problems.

I am an undergraduate student at Brigham Young University. I am currently majoring in mathematics education and love being able to teach and help those around me. I have been a tutor for about seven years now.

I think teaching is an art that can be mastered. A person can be a subject-matter expert but may be poor at teaching it. Teaching requires patience, explaining things at the basic level and putting yourself in the shoes of the student.

I enjoy helping students understand math. I have been tutoring on college campuses for 9 years and teaching high school and college math courses for 6 years. Most of my focus as a teacher has come from 9th Grade Math (Math 1) up to Calculus 1.
