I recently graduated with a master's degree in Geology at Brigham Young University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Geology at BYU in 2018. I have experience as a teacher's assistant and online instructor for college earth science courses. Additionally, I successful completed a number of other math and science course in my university studies. As a student myself, I am able to relate to the frustrations, challenges, and successes experienced by other students. I am passionate about earth sciences and the other sciences- chemistry, physics, and physical science- that work together in the field. I am also interested in study skills. I believe it's important to not only learn material, but to learn how to study and use available resources to find answers to questions. Throughout my education, I discovered that I am a visual learner. Knowing this about myself helps me learn better in my classes. Everyone learns differently, so once you know how you learn, it becomes much easier to succeed!
