Hailing from a grandmother and mother who are both public school teachers, my passion for mentorship and tutoring started at a young age and my new degree from the University of Colorado - Boulder allows me to better help students in need.

...of Music Performance from the University of South Carolina and a Masters in Music Performance from the University of Oregon. I have 10 + years of teaching experience, ranging from Sunday School teaching, private and group cello lessons, full-time school teaching (currently), and informally tutoring students in English and Math. My personal philosophy regarding learning is that every person can - it's a matter of acquiring the necessary tools to do so.

I am a highly motivated, with a practical experience in both fields (design and teaching) experience in the design industry. I have taught classes in Univ. of Colorado Denver. It's okay if studying is difficult. We actually learn more when we have to work hard for it! I love teaching and learning, and celebrate a mindset that will help learners grow step by step. I tutor a wide range of subjects, with particular expertise in the sciences and English. I look forward to working with each of my clients to meet their specific goals.

I am currently getting my masters degree in education to become a secondary math teacher. I have been tutoring math for the past five years and even taught middle school and high school level math full time abroad. I love working with kids and helping them see that math isn't always as scary as it looks!

Previously, I had attended the Colorado School of Mines earning a bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics.
