Learning is a personal passion that happens to have positive professional consequences. I try to emphasize the application of abstract concepts, especially math, because it is incredibly useful in STEM but also can increase the value to you and provide an opportunity to use these concepts in your daily life. My hope is that I can be that vessel to anyone I tutor.

I am a student at the University of Georgia majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology. My goal is to go to medical school where I plan on going into anesthesiology or oncology. I have been a tutor for over 2 years but I am new to Varsity Tutors.

I've always loved helping people, even my friends when we were in the same classes. It brings me a lot of satisfaction when I help a student feel more confident in what they are learning. It is so rewarding when I am able to relieve the stigma of certain subjects, especially math, in order for a student to perform well.
