I have a passion for teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) from both the personal experience of being an ESL student at a young age and as a teaching professional. I have taught students in a classroom setting for 5 years and in corporate settings for more than 25 years. I thoroughly enjoy interaction with students at all levels and watching them find their own path to subject mastery through skillful mentoring.

I have worked with young children for over sixteen years in a variety of roles and settings. Before becoming a public elementary school teacher, my experience included child/day care centers, Pre-Schools, after-school programs, private tutoring, substitute teaching, and owning and operating my own licensed child care center for several years. Upon graduation, I worked as a professional tutor for two years (tutoring English/Lit, writing skills, History, Government, Latin, ACT and SAT Verbal, and Greek) before beginning graduate school. I have a passion for teaching, and I love spending time outdoors with my puppy.
