I have always believed that education has the power to transform lives, and I am passionate about helping students discover their potential and confidence through learning. Nothing compares to witnessing a student's "aha" moment when a concept finally clicks, and knowing that I have played a role in that journey is deeply rewarding to me.
I have experience working with students of diverse backgrounds, including tutoring College and Adult students in IT, management and professional courses and supporting college students in writing and study skills. These experiences have allowed me to see the unique challenges each student faces and the importance of creating a supportive and encouraging environment.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Business Administration. I also have numerous certifications in IT and business courses such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Core Setup & Finance | C/SIDE Solution Development, Managing Microsoft Dynamics Implementations, Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Project Management: CAPM, CBAP, ITIL v3 (Service Operations & Foundation) and Business Process Optimization: AIIM BPM Master & Specialist.
My teaching philosophy is centered around patience, active listening, and adaptability. I believe that every student learns differently, and it is my responsibility to adjust my tutoring style to meet each student's unique needs. I use questioning techniques to guide students to discover answers on their own while providing clear explanations and examples to strengthen their understanding. I aim to build not only academic skills but also self-confidence and a growth mindset in each of my students.
