I am passionate educator currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics at Brigham Young University. I have over 2 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language to various levels of adult learners. In my lessons I emphasize patience and teaching to the needs of my students. I make sure to be observant of where they are in their learning journey and plan accordingly with my lesson plans. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students can engage with the material and each other, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. My experience includes volunteering in community English classes and teaching basic English to refugees, where I focus on foundational skills through repetition and practical application. Additionally, I have a strong background in digital design and art, which I integrate into my teaching to inspire creativity. Ultimately, my goal is to empower students to achieve their language learning objectives and build confidence in their abilities.
