As an English language teacher with a Bachelor's in Applied Linguistics and a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Georgia State University; I'm passionate about fostering a love for language in my students. With over 2 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in a range of subjects including Adult Literacy, ESL/ELL, and elementary reading and writing. My teaching philosophy centers on tailoring lessons to meet individual needs, ensuring that learning is both effective and enjoyable. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students feel motivated to explore and engage with the language. I find joy in teaching foundational skills to children and facilitating meaningful conversations with adults helping them build confidence in their English abilities. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring new cultures and languages which enriches my approach to tutoring.
