Beginning my 29th year as an English teacher, I graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.A. in English and an M.A.Ed. in English Education. I began teaching in Chapel Hill and has stayed in North Carolina ever since, where I have pursued and renewed National Board Certification. A mom to two daughters, a cat lover, and a fierce advocate for public education, I have taught every high school grade level multiple times over and loves teaching them all!
