I love teaching languages and literacy. I hold degrees from the University of Georgia, Georgia Southern University and the University of West Georgia. I have a specialist degree in early childhood education.

I have extensive literacy certifications. With the help of my school district, I have obtained a dyslexia endorsement. These classes taught me about the laws and rules of current trends with dyslexia and public schools. For learning to teach struggling readers, I have associate-level certificates including Classroom Educator and Beyond the Basics instruction with Orton-Gillingham. Other certifications that I have acquired during my career include special education and gifted endorsements.

I will help you with any area of language learning that you need. I can combine listening, speaking, reading, writing with direct and explicit instruction when needed.
