My passion for helping students is deeply rooted in a lifelong curiosity about science, technology, and how we learn. As someone who transitioned from neuroscience and biomedical research into applied data science, I know firsthand how impactful personalized guidance can beespecially when navigating complex, technical material.

I've worked with students at various stages, from undergraduates in research settings to early-career professionals learning programming and data science. At Georgia Tech, helped mentor and train initiatives in both classroom and lab environments, helping students develop the skills to design experiments, analyze complex biological datasets, and communicate their findings clearly. I especially enjoy helping learners connect abstract concepts to real-world applicationswhether it's understanding neural networks (biological or artificial), building reproducible data pipelines, or learning the basic mathematic, scientific foundation needed for further education.

I hold both a Master's in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor's in Neuroscience from Georgia Tech. These degrees gave me a strong foundation in mathematics, strategic thinking, data analysis, and the life sciences. I now work as a bioinformatics consultant, designing analytics solutions for public health applications.

I tutor a range of subjects including math, reading, biology, neuroscience, data science, Python programming, and writing.

My tutoring style is highly adaptive and focused on building student confidence. I prioritize asking good questions, promoting critical thinking, and developing structured approaches that help students build transferable skills. My philosophy is that learning is most effectiveand most funwhen it's active, personalized, and connected to a student's goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my dogs, and diving into books! Whether decoding the brain or debugging code, I love the challenge of making complex ideas accessible and meaningfuland I bring that same energy to every tutoring session.
