My name is Ri'an, and I'm a proud Nashville native and two-time graduate of the Grammy Award-winning Tennessee State University. With eight years of experience in education, I've dedicated my career to transforming how children learn by infusing creativity, rhythm, and joy into every lesson.

I believe that learning should be feltnot just memorized. That's why I use kinesthetic movement, music, and rhythm to help children retain knowledge in ways that are both meaningful and lasting. For six years, I taught kindergarten scholars how to decode and encode through imaginative, song-based strategies that made reading an adventure. I've also written curriculum designed to spark engagement and bring every child's creativity to life.

At the core of my teaching philosophy is resilience. I strive to create learning spaces where scholars are encouraged to work hard, play harder, and embrace the process of growth with confidence and joy. My goal is always to create experiences that children remembernot just because they learned, but because they loved learning.
