I am a graduate of The University of Georgia. I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Secondary Social Studies Education. For the last 5 years, I've been working as a middle school social studies teacher in Georgia. My students brought diverse perspectives and background knowledge into our classroom. I've worked with gifted students, on-level, and students with special needs in education. I've also tutored elementary students in all subjects. I am passionate about the power of social studies and the impact that mastering this subject has on your ability to think critically, solve problems, and make a powerful impact on the world.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my cat, Binx. I attend yoga and Pilates classes. I also enjoy painting, reading, and binge-watching true crime TV shows, thrillers, and comedies.
