I was a professor of sociology for 20 years. I received my MA and PhD in Sociology from Western Michigan University, and I taught graduate and undergraduate courses at Western Illinois University (WIU).

I have tutored students throughout my time at WIU. I can tutor on the following subjects: research design, data collection, data analysis, SPSS, and introductory sociology. I particularly like tutoring about research and analysis because I find the entire research process to be fascinating and exciting.

My teaching philosophy focused on application, or on having students apply course concepts to "real world" examples.
