I have two Summa Cum Laude Bachelor's degrees, one in French and the other in Linguistics, from the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 2022. I worked as a linguistics and French tutor from 2021 to 2022 before taking a job as an English lecturer at a university in Clermont-Ferrand, France. I taught French management and economics students for two years while also tutoring ESL privately to a range of students from age 10 to 60. I've continued to tutor English to French students over the course of the last year, as I've begun a Master's in French-English translation at the University of Strasbourg in France. I believe that language is a tool to unlocking a whole new world, and find a great deal of joy finding ways to help engage learners of French or English with the language and the culture. I prioritize learning grammar and pronunciation through conversation, as well as meeting learners where they are in a judgment-free zone.
