I am currently studying as a Posse Scholar undergraduate student at Centre College. I plan on recieving a Bachelor's in Neuroscience with a minor in French as well. Throughout high school, I've had the pleasure of tutoring with ENGin, a program based in Ukraine that matches native English speakers to help Ukrainian students with their English proficiency. I've worked with students that ranged from beginner to advanced. I have also had the pleasure of tutoring students in Spanish, French and Japanese. As a neuroscience major and a tutor, my goal is for my students to understand the mechanisms behind learning. In other words, I believe it is important for students to understand neurologically how we learn and to be able to use this knowledge in their everyday life.
